Since it’s Valentine’s Day weekend, I thought that I would ‘celebrate love’ by featuring another wedding from last year that I have neglected to share with you so far……Sarah and Matthias.
I started the day by meeting the men of the wedding party at the park for some shots. Sarah and Matthias did not want to see each other before the ceremony, so we needed to shoot in separate locations.
I met Sarah and her bridesmaids at the location of the event…..the wonderful Vintage Schoolhouse Classics.
I loved this shot of the beautiful bride.
Sarah made all of the fan-shaped programs for the ceremony, and they were so cute!
Because the wedding had a “fairy-tale” theme, some of the little girls in the family dressed as princesses.
The following day, Sarah and Matthias wanted to do another photo session…..a “trash the dress” session, although we tried not to completely trash her dress! It did get pretty dirty along the bottom, though!
We started at Sonic, because that’s where Sarah and Matthias first met…in high school.
I really enjoyed doing this session….I had always wanted to do a “trash the dress” session, and we really traveled to a lot of different locations.
Sarah and Matthias love to take their jeep on “off road” trails, so they took me along to the ATV area at Tuttle Creek Lake…..it was a wild ride!
Currently, Matthias is stationed in Korea, and Sarah is there with him. I hope they are enjoying the experience, and I wish them safe travels home!
