A couple of Sundays ago, the Salina Journal ran their annual “Weddings issue”. I flipped through it, and was surprised to see this……

…a feature article on the wedding of Sam and Ashley, including one of the photographs that I took of the couple in downtown Salina. Sam and Ashley are such a fun couple! Here are some of the images from their day……

Sam and Ashley’s wedding was held at the Blue Heaven Studios in downtown Salina……a beautiful old church that has been converted into a Jazz music recording studio…..it’s so cool!

The girls got ready at a nearby Dance studio….and the mirrors made for some fun photos (this one taken by Michelle Tessaro).

Ashley was such a gorgeous bride! She had these beautiful blue shoes, and I loved the feather hairpiece that she wore.

Sam is a pilot, so instead of using rice or birdseed to toss at the couple as they left after the ceremony, this couple used little tiny paper airplanes….it was a great idea!

Notice all of the candles on the altar….they looked gorgeous during the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the entire wedding party walked into downtown Salina, to stand in front of the Stiefel Theatre.

Then it was off to the reception, which was one of the most beautifully decorated events I’ve ever seen. The entire wedding was designed and coordinated by Laura Besher of “Every Little Detail” in Salina. She did a phenomenal job!

This was the huge “cupcake tower”. I loved the black and green color scheme.

The table decorations featured some of the photos from our engagement session……which I still need to share with you.

….and finally, the collage that I created for them. Thanks so much to Sam and Ashley! I really had fun documenting your day!
