Samantha and I first met in Newton a couple of summers ago, when we both took the “Wedding Photography” Workshop at the Kansas Professional Photographer’s School. I was very honored that she later contacted me to see if I was interested in photographing her wedding. Loran and Samantha had a farming theme for their wedding…..these antique toy tractors (above) were there in memory of loved ones who had passed away….I thought it was a very neat idea.

Even the garters had tractors on them!

The flower girl was so cute….she was showing me her hairstyle here.

Samantha actually used a piece of her great-grandmother’s wedding garland in her bouquet…from 1891!

The groomsmen were also farmers, and all brought their semi-trucks so that they could have a caravan after the ceremony.

And here’s a shot of the beautiful bridesmaids and bride.
Loran and Samantha are the 3rd generation from her family to be married in this beautiful old country church.

I loved Samantha’s cloak…..she knew that the weather would be cold…she was thinking ahead!
I loved how the cake looked like it had leather belts wrapped around it.

Loran and Samantha’s first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Lefert.
Thanks Loran and Samantha…your wedding was beautiful!
