Today is Zebediah’s 11th birthday.
He was such an easy-going baby. It was just really hard to make him cry (not that we tried, but you know what I mean)….he was just in a good mood most of the time.
Then he became a very (very!) busy little boy! He was still in a good mood…..as he was running away from us, giggling the whole time as we chased him down the street. Some will remember the story of his trip to Kwik Corner…..by himself, when he was just 2 years old.
Here’s a photo of his 2nd birthday….the Blue’s Clue’s cake that Grandma Darlene made for him. And that’s Jori (sorry, Jori, but you were just so cute!) and Jace.
Soon after that birthday, he fell off the back porch and suffered his first near-concussion, and first trip to the hospital for a Cat-scan…..first of many! He still had a black eye for this Halloween photo.
This is one of my favorite photos of Alyx and Zeb.
He likes to play baseball in the summer.
And for several years, we thought we’d never let him play football, because he’s just so accident prone. But last year, he begged so we let him try it. He has a special helmet since he’s concussion-prone.
And he loved football….he had a great season.
And one more…..since he got his glasses, he looks more like this now.
Happy Birthday Zeb!
